El arte de Paola Ruggiero se centra en el contraste/la interacción entre lo masculino y lo femenino.
Sin duda, es una artista que puede reivindicar plenamente el principio de que el arte sea creado por mujeres.
Al observar sus obras, uno percibe de inmediato una especie de misticismo secular en las imágenes que se mueve en paralelo al cuidado hipersensible y meticuloso del enfoque pictórico, sutil y refinado, lineal y creíble, pero también onírico y sorprendente.
El mundo que describe el pintor es delicado y mágico, fruto de una fuerza imaginativa capaz de fusionar las peculiaridades de los sentimientos masculinos y femeninos.
Ruggiero logra todo esto al retomar temas ancestrales. Se dedica con pasión a pintar desnudos, dejándose llevar a una dimensión metafísica en la que vierte sus experiencias con profunda emoción, a través de una introspección continua que la aleja de la retórica y la ostentación.
Nacida en el seno de una familia de artistas, frecuenta lugares impregnados de historia y espiritualidad, como Calcata y Asís. De estas intensas experiencias, extrae un lenguaje expresivo capaz de dar testimonio de su búsqueda espiritual. La suya es una dimensión en la que coexisten eficazmente un espíritu cristiano y otro más naturalista que pagano, en el sentido de una adhesión espontánea y convencida a los impulsos primarios del corazón que son herencia de todo individuo. Su capacidad para extraer el sentimiento de las profundidades del alma y ofrecerlo, a través de una delicada esencia, a todos aquellos abiertos a la experiencia estética es asombrosa.

The art of Paola Ruggiero is based on the contrast/interaction between male and female.
It is undoubtedly the female artist who can rightfully claim for herself the principle of making a feminine art. There is, in fact, in her imagination a sort of secular mysticism of images, which makes it hypersensitive and very attentive to the subtle and refined care of pictorial writing, so linear and plausible in some ways and so dreamlike and suspended for others.
The world that the author describes is a delicate and enchanted world, for which the creative act is actually the result of the union of the two inseparable terms, deriving from the conjunction of masculine and feminine, from which art is concretely and effectively enerated.
She takes care of painting the nude with passion and involvement and at the same time she is clearly involved in a metaphysical dimension.
In her experiences are intimate feelings and continuous introspections that keep her away from any rhetoric and any ostentation. Born from archaeological experiences, daughter of art and then frequenter of remote places and at the same time very close to the deepest spirituality like Calcata and Assisi.
Ruggiero realizes her works mixed with a real spiritual search, Christian spirit and a spirit not so much pagan as naturalistic, in the sense of a spontaneous and convinced adhesion to the primary motions of the heart that are the patrimony of every individual, but that the artist is in charge, as to extract from the depths of the soul, to show a delicate essence of art.
