Born in Salerno in 1973, she graduated in architecture in Naples and attended the Master's in Industrial Design at the Domus Academy in Milan. After the long and important Milanese interlude, the return to Salerno marks a fundamental shift in his expressive path: forms are shaped and not drawn, visions move from architecture to sculpture.
Alongside a series of group exhibitions, where she participates with interventions increasingly influenced by the analysis of a tradition translated into innovation, Napolitano is also a cultural promoter: it is the marriage between form, the rigid container of all beliefs, rules, inflexible constraints and the three-dimensional, the intelligence of the ego, individuality identified with itself and with contingent reality, the secret pact of the artist-architect Deborah Napolitano with artistic action.
